The value of the Elks’ charitable works since their inception in 1868 is more than $4 billion. The Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of Elks, disburses more than $29 million annually. The foundation helps Elks build stronger communities through programs that support youth, serve veterans and meet needs in areas where Elks live and work.
The Course
The Portsmouth Elks Country Club was constructed in 1924 by world renowned golf course designer Donald Ross. Considered one of the best golf courses in Southern Ohio, the Elks is a 6,701-yard par 72 that has received a prestigious 4-star rating from golf digest.
Discover tranquility as your play your round surrounded by nature. Truly one of Ross’ most amazing designs, the Elks has a rating of 71.0 and a slope of 117 on bermuda grass. Golfers can expect beautifully manicured greens and grounds, rolling terrain — and great variety in the difficulty of all the holes.
The Clubhouse
The Portsmouth Elks Country Club features a clubhouse with a lounge, full bar and TVs. Hot meals are served for breakfast and lunch.
