Course Manager
LOCATION: 19787 OH-73 McDermott, Ohio
REPORTS TO: Elks Board of Trustees
STARTING DATE: April 1, 2023
WORK YEAR: 365 Day Contract
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate upon experience, skills and abilities
BENEFITS: Provision of house, holidays paid with no work required, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, after 6 Months-1 week vacation graduating to 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 personal days
POSITION SUMMARY: Perform administrative duties and use software for basic daily operations, maintain clubhouse, ability to deal with lodge rooms for the public and ability to track expenses
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to provide leadership to the staff
- Ability to effectively deal/communicate with the public
- Computer skills
- FBI/BCI background clearance
- TB clearance
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervising day to day operations of the Elks Golf Course, staff and interacting with the general public and Elks Lodge 154 members. Scheduling events and course outings, understanding of finances and budgets.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to speak effectively to members, visitors, staff, and the public
- Ability to work as a member of a team and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to write routine documents and correspondence
- Ability to maintain supplies and equipment
- Ability to organize and supervise high school and collegiate golf events
